Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: The Indirect Procurement Manager will oversee all procurement and sourcing functions for the organization. The Indirect Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices across all departments.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to ensure the best possible terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage and maintain a comprehensive contract database, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • The preferred candidate will have a professional procurement certification ( e.g. CPSM, CIPS, CPM, CPSD, CPSM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing for a large enterprise company
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices and market trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • 10% to 15% of overnight travel required, including air travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
