Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE: The Financial Analyst role serves as a direct financial partner to our operational teams. This role is responsible for reconciliation of financial/accounting data, reviewing a variety of data to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generating alternative solutions, and driving positive change. This position will also have an active role in the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes. This role reports to our Finance Manager on the Operations Finance team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Reconcile variances between different reporting systems
  • Provide day-to-day support for our shop locations and operational leadership teams
  • Prepare, review, and distribute financial reports including sales, gross margin, and P&Ls
  • Compare expenses and revenues against budget/forecast and analyze variances and trends
  • Assist in the annual budget and forecast process
  • Assist in the creation and publication of KPIs that are timely and insightful to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organizations
  • Review and analyze large volumes of data with the ability to produce findings then translate in an easily digestible way for multiple levels of leadership
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models
  • Build and foster relationships throughout the organization, creating an environment of collaboration
  • Assist in process implementation and project manage initiatives from a financial perspective

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1-3 years’ Finance or Accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel)
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented with good organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong self-motivated team player
