Responsibilities

Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Vice President of HR Business Partners will be a strategic leader responsible for driving HR excellence across the Operational Division. This critical role will provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring alignment between human capital strategies and business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that directly support Crash Champions' operational excellence and growth objectives
  • Serve as the primary strategic HR business partner for East and West Division Operational Senior Vice Presidents, with full accountability for HR Business Partner functions
  • Provide strategic HR guidance on complex employee relations issues
  • Lead comprehensive performance management initiatives
  • Support workforce planning efforts
  • Resolve intricate HR challenges that require senior-level intervention
  • Design and execute enterprise-level talent management strategies that drive organizational performance and employee engagement
  • Lead and elevate the HR Business Partner team in creating and maintaining strong, collaborative partnerships with business leaders
  • Deliver comprehensive HR solutions that support the overall business strategy and operational effectiveness

Performance and Talent Management

  • Support and execute company-wide performance management initiatives
  • Facilitate the implementation of succession planning programs
  • Ensure consistent application of talent management strategies across the East and West Divisions
  • Assist leaders in effectively executing company-established talent development processes

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure absolute compliance with state employment laws, federal regulations, and multi-state employment requirements
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive HR policies and procedures that mitigate legal and operational risks
  • Conduct thorough investigations of complex employee relations issues
  • Provide expert guidance on sensitive and confidential HR matters
  • Stay current with evolving employment laws and proactively update organizational practices

Business Partnership and Consultation

  • Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Develop and track key HR metrics that demonstrate the value and impact of HR initiatives
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Provide coaching and consultative support to leaders at all levels of the organization

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and multi-state HR compliance
  • Proven track record of strategic HR business partnering
  • Advanced problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and advanced data analytics

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
  • SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) or similar advanced HR certification
  • Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish)
  • Experience in automotive service, repair, or related operational industries
  • Advanced certification in change management or organizational development

  • Flexible work arrangement with primary base at corporate office
  • Occasional long hours and weekend work may be required

Compensation range listed is inclusive of both base salary and target bonus. Additionally, this role is eligible for a competitive long-term incentive equity grant commensurate with corporate Vice President level
