Responsibilities

The Communications Intern supports the Crash Champions Communications team by assisting with accurate, consistent, and timely communication across both internal and external channels. This full-time intern will help maintain the quality of our online listings, engage with customers through review platforms, and organize internal communication assets for easy access.

 

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Audit and update local listings across online platforms (Google, Yelp, Apple, Facebook, etc.) to ensure accuracy of hours, services, and contact information.
  • Respond to customer reviews on Google and Yelp using established Crash Champions communication standards and escalation paths.
  • Assist with internal communication tasks, including organizing, archiving, and maintaining a structured folder system for past and ongoing communications.
  • Prepare internal communication materials for the Crash Champions intranet using approved templates and brand guidelines.
  • Compile simple reports summarizing Google and Yelp review activity, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support day-to-day communications needs across the Communications team.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Interest in marketing, communications, digital media, or similar fields.
  • Ability to navigate digital tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting formats.
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and adapt tone for internal and external audiences.
